This little up-tempo quintet was designed to provide literature to the fledgling group looking to spread their wings with just a bit of fun in their program. The Two Step was a fast ballroom dance popular in America during the late 19th and early 20th century.  John Philip Sousa’s Washington Post March was popular during its time as an example of a Two Step dance and as a result helped it gain international fame.
